RJ Wachsman Homes has built new homes in Wichita Falls since 1978, when founder RJ Wachsman started the company with his three brothers and sister. It is a builder and developer, laying out its own neighborhoods, including Starwood, Lake Wellington Estates and Trophy Park, and building 25 to 50 homes a year from a catalog of plans drawn in Wichita Falls. Tanner Wachsman serves as president.
Design, interiors, staging and marketing are handled in-house, and the same crews build both spec and custom homes. Standard features include 10-foot ceilings, quartz counters, tile showers, sod and sprinklers, backed by a 10-year structural warranty. The company has been voted Texoma’s Best Home Builder more than 25 times.
