We’re builders, suppliers, tradespeople, and neighbors working together in North Texas.
The North Texas Home Builders Association brings together home builders and the businesses that help turn plans into places to live. Our members provide the construction, materials, services, and financing behind homes and apartments throughout the region.
Much of that work starts with a conversation. At association meetings and events, members get to know one another, share experience, and build relationships that carry into their everyday work.
We support better building through the exchange of ideas about materials, techniques, equipment, and home financing. And when someone needs a builder or a local business, our member directories make those connections easier.
We serve Archer, Baylor, Clay, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young counties.
NTHBA is the voice and the network of the home building industry in North Texas. Here is what the association does for its members and for the communities they build.
Advocacy
The industry’s voice at city hall and, through the Texas Association of Builders and NAHB, in Austin and Washington: housing affordability, sensible codes and permitting, fair fees and a workforce pipeline for the trades. When the rules change, our members are at the table.
Connections & Member Benefits
One membership joins NTHBA, TAB and NAHB. Associates get face time every month with the builders who buy from them; builders get a trusted bench of suppliers, lenders and trades. Members also get the printed directory and Reporter newsletter, access to TAB’s Texas residential contracts package, and NAHB Member Savings discounts on trucks, tools and software.
Economic Impact
Home building is one of the region’s biggest economic engines. NAHB estimates that building 100 single-family homes in a typical local area supports about 394 jobs and $28.7 million in local income in the first year, most of it earned by the framers, plumbers, electricians, suppliers and lenders who make up our membership.
Referrals & Public Directory
Homeowners and buyers use nthba.com and our printed directory to find member builders, remodelers, suppliers and service providers. Every member company is listed by trade and searchable year-round, which makes membership a steady source of referrals.
Parade of Homes
A Wichita Falls tradition for more than 70 years and our biggest public event: member builders open new homes to the community over two June weekends, with a printed guide, tickets and a People’s Choice vote. For builders and the associates who sponsor them, it is the showcase of the year.
Monthly Meetings
General membership meetings bring builders and associates together every month with a guest speaker, from city leaders to university presidents, plus association business and a meal. It is where the local industry sits down together, and where associates build the relationships that turn into business.
Education & Trade Shows
Membership opens the door to NAHB’s International Builders’ Show and TAB’s Sunbelt Builders Show, the industry’s largest gatherings for new products, education and ideas worth bringing home, along with NAHB courses and professional designations for builders and their teams.
Signature Events
The Golf & Bunco Tournament pairs a four-person scramble on the course with a Bunco tournament for members and guests who would rather roll dice than swing a club, then brings everyone together for lunch, prizes and awards. With the Sporting Clays Shoot and the Casino Night Christmas party, these are the days when sponsors get the most face time with builders.

Jody holds a Bachelor of Science from West Texas A&M University and serves on several local committees.
Alongside the officers, the board sets the association’s priorities and oversees its programs and events. Directors are approved by the membership each fall; the state directors represent NTHBA on the Texas Association of Builders board, and life directors are honored for lasting service to the association.
The association office is the day-to-day home of NTHBA: membership, sponsors, events and the Parade of Homes all run through it.
