The Lantern House is a Wichita Falls lighting showroom that first opened in 1971 and sells light fixtures and ceiling fans to builders, electrical contractors and homeowners across North Texas and southern Oklahoma. Tommy Ayers, whose parents ran the original store on McNiel Avenue, reopened it at a new location in 2023 after it had closed in 2021.
Besides stocking fixtures for new homes, the store works with builders on lighting layouts and consultations, offers LED lighting advice for homeowners and handles LED retrofits for commercial buildings.
