American National Title of Texas handles title insurance and closings for property buyers, sellers, lenders and builders from its office in Wichita Falls. It is the title arm of American National Bank & Trust and was built from the former Archer County Abstract Company, Clay County Title and Henrietta Abstract. The company writes title policies on residential, commercial and farm and ranch property across Texas.
It says it is the only title company running its own title plants in Archer, Clay and Wichita counties, so title examination and lien searches are done in-house. Its Archer City roots go back to 1899.
