Investar Bank is a full-service community bank with two branches in Wichita Falls. The local offices operated as First National Bank until Investar, headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, completed its purchase of the bank at the start of 2026. Personal, business and commercial banking continue under the new name.
For builders and buyers the bank offers commercial lending through a local relationship manager, along with home mortgages, home equity lines, lot and acreage loans, and cash management for businesses. Investar operates branches in Louisiana, Texas and Alabama.
