July 7, 2022 the North Texas Home Builders Association hosted its 2022 Parade of Homes Kickoff Dinner at the Maskat Shrine Center. Approximately 140 people were in attendance

President Tanner Wachsman began the evening with welcoming the special guest from the 363rd Training Squadron from Sheppard Air Force Base, welcoming all guest, recognizing the 2022 NTHBA Partner – Gold: Atmos Energy, Brazos Window & Door LLC, ServiceMaster of Wichita Falls and Stewart Title, Silver – American National Bank & Trust, First National Bank, Flat Branch Home Loans, Guarantee Title Company, On Site Solutions, Texoma Community Credit Union and Union Square Credit Union, recognizing our 2022 Parade Sponsors – Builders Lumber Company and Foundation Automotive Dealerships and recognizing the aforementioned event sponsors and the following who donated door prizes – First National Bank, Jacksboro National Bank, Lowe’s, Rapco Cabinet & Doors LLC, and Stewart After the recognition, Tanner thanked everyone for their role in making the 2022 Parade of Homes Kickoff Dinner possible.
After dinner, the party began. Those who wanted to stay and play purchased funny money to buy chips to play casino games. Games consisted of one double roulette table, 5 craps tables, 2 blackjack tables and one Texas hold em poker table. During all the hoot and hollering, games were paused periodically and time was taken to draw a few door prize tickets throughout the evening to allow some lucky person the opportunity to win some great prizes. First National Bank Mortgage donated a $200.00 Spa Gift Card, Jacksboro National Bank donated a $250.00 gift card for a two month subscription of flower arrangements delivered one per week from Three Way Flower Farm, Linda Miller Realtor Group donated an Ring Doorbell, Lowe’s donated several tool kits, Rapco Cabinet & Doors donated 4 tickets to the August 6th Texas Ranger game with seats in the lower level along with a night’s stay at the Sheraton Hotel room that is within 12 minutes walking distance to Globe Life Park and $150.00 Pappadeaux gift card, Stewart Title donated a cordless 20V weed eater/blower combination package, two quad chairs and an awesome grille cleaning kit. Kolter Lukert of Guarantee Title graciously agreed to do the drawings for the night.
After all door prizes had been drawn for, it was time to wrap up the evening. Attendees turned in chips for tickets. Each person loaded their tickets in the drawing box and the drawings for the casino game prizes began
Prizes various gift cards ranging from $100.00 – $200.00 for different types of businesses, $260.00 valued Texas Ranger all you can eat Tickets in the lower section, $200.00 valued Hawaiian Splash Tickets for 4 with meals and $100.00 Visa Cards. Everyone had a great evening and was excited for those who won prizes.
